The St. John's Hunger and Outreach Committee comprises about 20 active members of the congregation who conduct the main outreach programs of the church - including recommendations to the Vestry for disbursement of up to $30,000 a year provided from the main church budget. It is the hope of the Vestry that a successful stewardship campaign will allow for expanding this effort. The committee's mission statement is "To provide St. John's with an organized and effective outreach channel to help disadvantaged people to help themselves."
